A premium end-to-end platform for buying new vehicles: a filterable catalogue, technical specifications, colour galleries, email-verified accounts and Mercado Pago Checkout Pro. Commercial prices remain in US dollars and are locked in Argentine pesos when an order is created using the official BCRA rate. The application runs on a custom layered PHP 8.2 architecture without a framework.

Project context

The challenge

Turn an academic CRUD into a real sales platform: dollar-denominated prices that must be locked in pesos at checkout, Mercado Pago payments and verified accounts, all without a PHP framework.

The approach

A custom Core, Repository, Service and View architecture runs on PHP 8.2 with prepared queries and native sessions. Orders are blocked if no current or cached BCRA rate under 24 hours is available. Tailwind, Alpine and htmx are compiled through Vite.
